Global Research

Babson College has long been a leader in entrepreneurship research, partnering to conduct the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM), the Diana Project, and launching Successful Transgenerational Entrepreneurship Practices (STEP) project in 2005.

Babson, in partnership with the London School of Business, conducts the world’s largest and longest standing, globally focused entrepreneurship research, the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM). In 2005, we launched the Successful Transgenerational Entrepreneurship Practices (STEP) project, which explores the entrepreneurial process within family businesses and practices for building legacies of social and economic wealth across generations.

We are also partners on the Diana Project, a multi-year and multi-university study of female business owners and business growth activities.
