Set Up Your Email and Network Access

Once you’ve enrolled and shared the exciting news, take a few minutes to set up your new Babson email address. This is where you’ll receive important updates from campus partners about onboarding, orientation, and course registration. Students entering full-time or cohort-based programs typically begin receiving important information regarding registration as early as 2-3 months before their program begins, while part-time students will receive information regarding course registration soon after they declare their intent to enroll.

Submit Any Required Documents

Double check that your account is up to date with all your required documents, including your official transcripts. Remember, while Babson can review unofficial transcripts during the application process, official transcripts are required prior to beginning your program. After you submit your deposit, carefully review your application checklist in the Graduate Admissions Portal to see which official documents are required and their due date.

Full-Time MBA
Official transcript(s) are required. If your undergraduate degree was granted outside the U.S., U.K., or Canada, you’ll need to provide an equivalency evaluation of your undergraduate degree. Babson recommends you do this through World Education Services Inc., Educational Credential Evaluators Inc., or International Education Research Foundation.

Part-Time MBA, Blended Learning MBA-Miami and Certificate in Advanced Management
Official transcript(s) are required. If your transcripts are not in English, you’ll need to provide an official translation of your transcripts.

Specialized Master’s (MSBA, MSEL, MSF)
Official transcript(s) are required. If your transcripts are not in English, official translated copies of transcripts are required. If you recently graduated and your degree has not yet been conferred, we can accept an official provisional degree certificate AND a university issued final transcript to complete your admissions file.

Resources for International Students

Babson is a unifying thread that knits together people with diverse backgrounds, skills, and career goals, for an unforgettable graduate school experience. Over one-half of our graduate community comes to Babson internationally, from more than 50 countries. That is why Babson’s International Students & Scholar Services (ISSS) works to ensure that international students have the information and resources they need to make a smooth transition into our community.

Admitted students should be aware that the Glavin office will typically begin processing immigration document requests once an individual is 120 days from the start date of an academic program. Students must have made their first deposit, met all conditions for admission, and have an active Babson email before the document can be issued.

Find support while you navigate visas, F&J immigration regulations, and more throughout your time at Babson.

From the admissions team, the grad academic services and grad career services teams we met during onboarding, the faculty and staff, the rest of my student cohort, and every alum that I’ve met to date, it is clear that Babson has been successful in attracting people like me who feel strong alignment with Babson’s ET&A approach and that their commitment to building community has been thoroughly adopted by all of these stakeholders.

COVID Guidelines to Know

Effective May 11, 2023, the College will strongly recommend that campus community members continue to stay up to date on COVID vaccines but will no longer require COVID vaccination as a condition of enrollment or employment.

This modification to our policy is informed by public health guidance, our own campus experiences, and input from our consultants, Environmental Health & Engineering Inc. The change also aligns with Governor Maura Healey's decision to lift the vaccine mandate previously required of Executive Branch state employees. Our change in policy also is consistent with many local peer institutions' plans.

With widespread availability of tools to manage the impact of the COVID virus-vaccines, testing, treatments, and more-Babson has returned to a thriving campus environment. Our community continues to be highly vaccinated (99%).

As a community who cares for each other's well-being, we urge everyone to take personal responsibility for their own health. If you feel sick or have respiratory symptoms, you should remain at home and contact Health Services.

We continue to recommend all community members stay informed regarding updated CDC and Mass. Dept. of Public Health guidelines for vaccinations and managing illness including COVID-19. All new and returning students will be required to adhere to the immunization guidelines of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health prior to the academic year start. Throughout the year, we will host Flu and COVID-19 vaccine clinics to help our community easily access vaccines.

As our policies evolve to incorporate greater personal responsibility and risk assessment, we will maintain important protocols that must be followed if you test positive for COVID-19:

  • We encourage students to review current CDC/MA DPH guidance should they test positive or believe that they may have been exposed to someone who is positive.
  • You are asked to contact Health Services to inform them of your status.
  • If you are exposed to someone who tested positive, mask for 10 days and test if you develop symptoms. You may stop masking on day 6, if you have no symptoms.
  • Symptomatic students will have access to rapid testing in Health Services.
