Sara Gragnolati is a 12-year veteran in the natural products industry (NPI), with an established expertise in organic, health, sustainability and consumer trends. She launched Cocomama after she was diagnosed with food allergies and saw a huge opportunity to fill needs within the fast-growing gluten-free market.
Sara has worked with many of the leading brands in the NPI. She started her career with two different marketing firms focused on representing organic & green clients. She oversaw marketing programs, PR campaigns, PR/marketing budget planning, sales development and packaging, website, and ad design.
In 2006, she co-founded KIWI Magazine, a publication for parents on healthy family living. In addition to serving as Editorial Director, with core responsibilities in content development, staff & freelance management, and artistic direction, she was one of two executives who managed every aspect of the business, including overall budgets, ad sales, and affiliate marketing programs. Sara was also the spokesperson for KIWI, making multiple appearances on The Early Show (CBS), and conducting print, radio, online and event interviews.
Sara graduated magna cum laude from Babson’s MBA program, where she placed first, with Cocomama, in Babson’s 2010 Graduate Business Plan Competition. She’s also a Gold Medal Finalist ($50k) in the MassChallenge competition (2011).
