From Day One: Make a Choice, Be The Difference
From Day One is a marketplace of social innovation, designed to engage and connect students to the many ways they can make a difference at Babson and beyond. This annual tradition kicks off the day before classes begin, literally From Day One, and continues into the following week. Understanding how to simultaneously create social and economic value is serious business, and at Babson we start with that intention From Day One.
This year, From Day One kicked off with the Babson Sustainable Kitchen Dinner on September 2 featuring Chef Bill Bailey and showcasing all the ways the Babson Dining Service makes a difference.
Then on Friday, September 12, from noon to 2 p.m. From Day One Fest gathered student, alumni and community businesses and organizations in a marketplace of social innovation. Good Business Fridays kicked off for the fall semester with a conversation about how social value creation can be woven into FME ideation to realize the full potential of FME businesses.
Thanks to all who participated and to the Sustainability Office and the Glavin Office for partnering to bring this great event to the Babson student community.
