​Directors of Academic Services

Rob Major Rob Major

Rob Major is an associate dean and the director of the Office of Academic Services. He oversees the operations of the Academic Services office which includes personal and academic support for the undergraduate population and management of curriculum support for Babson’s innovative, integrated curriculum.

He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in consumer affairs from the University of Rhode Island and his master’s degree in higher education administration from Suffolk University.

Staci WeberStaci Weber

Associate Director

Staci Weber is the associate director of the Office of Academic Services. She oversees the Personal and Academic Support operations of the Office of Academic Services for students in their sophomore through senior years. She manages the transfer credit review and application process, and advises all incoming transfer and exchange students.

She earned her BA from Franklin & Marshall College, her MEd from the University of Delaware, and is finishing her PhD at Syracuse University on “How first generation college students use college access and/or success programs to navigate their college-going journey.”

Samantha StanleySamantha Stanley

Class Dean of 2015

Samantha Stanley is the class dean for the Class of 2015. She provides academic and personal support to the Class of 2015, including advisement on course selection and registration, academic planning, study abroad, variances, off-campus course work, and exam excuses.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in anthropology and sociology from Saint Michael’s College, and her Master of Arts in international education from the School of International Training Graduate Institute.​

Kristen FischerKristen Fischer

Class Dean of 2016

Kristen Fischer is the class dean for the Class of 2016. She provides academic and personal support to the Class of 2016, including advisement on course selection and registration, academic planning, study abroad, variances, off-campus course work, and exam excuses.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and theater from Hamilton College and her Master of Arts degree in higher education and student affairs from The Ohio State University.

Ashly SitemanAshly Siteman

Class Dean of 2017

Ashly Siteman is the class dean for the Class of 2014. She provides academic and personal support to the Class of 2014, including advisement on course selection and registration, academic planning, study abroad, variances, off-campus course work, and exam excuses.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in anthropology and chemistry from the University of North Carolina and her master’s degree in higher education from Harvard University.​

First-Year Team

Dan KwashDan Kwash

Assistant Director, First-Year Dean

Dan Kwash is the First-Year dean for the Class of 2017 and the assistant director of the Office of Academic Services. He is responsible for leadership and delivery of academic and personal support programs for the First-Year students, including supervision of professional staff within the program. He also provides primary personal and academic support to the Babson First-Year students.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in history and secondary education and his master’s degree in education with a concentration in higher education at Bridgewater State University.​

Brian DugganBrian Duggan

Assistant Class Dean, First-Year Programs

Brian Duggan M’05 advises all incoming GAP enrollment students and also coordinates the Weissman Scholars program.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in math from College of the Holy Cross, his Master of Education from Boston College, and his Masters of Business Administration from Babson College. ​

Conor O'BrienConor O’Brien

Program Manager, Academic Services

Conor O’Brien is the program manager in the First-Year Programs area of the Office of Academic Services. He assists the First-Year Class Dean with the development and implementation of Orientation and the First-Year Seminar. He also oversees the Peer Mentor program and the First-Year/Senior Retreat, and all class-based programming through the Office of Academic Services.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts at Quinnipiac University and his Master of Education in higher education and student affairs from the University of South Carolina. ​

Curriculum Support​

Jill FontaineJill Fontaine

Assistant Director, Curriculum Support

Jill Fontaine is the assistant director for curriculum support in the Office of Academic Services. She is responsible for coordinating with faculty to provide support for FME (Foundations of Management and Entrepreneurship), and the integrated sophomore curriculum (OEM, MCE, and SME) in the areas of Blackboard, simulations, course projects, exams, and enrollment management. She also manages the FME Mentor program, FME Auditors, and the FME Bank.

She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Babson College, and her Masters of Education from Providence College.​

Kevin O'LearyKevin O'Leary

Program Coordinator

Kevin O’Leary is a program coordinator for curriculum support in the Office of Academic Services. He is part of the Curriculum Support team that works with faculty who provide support for FME (Foundations of Management and Entrepreneurship) as well as the integrated sophomore curriculum (OEM, MCE, and SME) in areas including Blackboard, simulations, course projects, exams, and enrollment management. He also manages common exam proctors.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology as well as his Master of Education from Merrimack College.

Kate D’AngeloKate D’Angelo

Program Coordinator

Kate D’Angelo is a program coordinator for curriculum support in the Office of Academic Services. She works with the Curriculum Support team to provide faculty and program support for FME (Foundations of Management and Entrepreneurship), and the integrated sophomore curriculum (OEM, MCE, and SME) in the areas of Blackboard, simulations, course projects, exams, and enrollment management.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a certificate in professional writing and technical communication from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, her Master of Higher Education Administration from North Carolina State University, and completed the graduate certificate program Leadership for Change: Sustainability, Responsibility, and Community from Boston College.

Jackie HarrisJackie Harris

Coordinator, Coaching for Leadership and Teamwork Program

Jackie Harris is the coordinator for the Coaching for Leadership and Teamwork Program as part of the Office of Academic Services. She coordinates all aspects of the program, including coordination of volunteer recruitment, management of volunteer training, event day management, as well as many other tasks that lead to the program’s success.

Mary Beth CraneMary Beth Crane

Administrative Assistant

Mary Beth Crane is the part-time administrative assistant in the Office of Academic Services. She handles overall office support functions and event planning as a part of her day-to-day duties.

Honors Program​

Monique RoseMonique Rose

Assistant Director, Honors and Presidential Scholars Programs

Monique Rose is the assistant director of the Honors and Presidential Scholars programs. She coordinates all aspects of the program including working with faculty on the administration and recruitment for the Honors Program, as well as providing academic and personal support to the students. She also manages the Presidential Scholars program.

She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical engineering from Yale University and her Masters of Business Administration from Babson College.
