Babson LGBTQ Action Group

Creating a community that values, supports, and celebrates LGBTQ individuals and their allies.

Babson’s LGBTQ Action Group is comprised of faculty, staff, alumni, and undergraduate and graduate students who are actively advancing Babson's standing as a welcoming community for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning individuals and their allies.

The group is co-chaired by Jamie Kendrioski, Director of International Student and Scholar Services, and Becky Prior, Graduate Admissions Analyst and Project Manager. Graduate Assistant for LGBTQ Programs Christine Yoon M'15 and LGBTQ Programs Assistant Matt Hard '17 are available via email at LGBTQ@babson.edu and during Walk-In Hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10am-noon, in the Glavin Office (Hollister 220).

LGBTQ & Allies Welcome Reception

Babson kicked off the new year on Tuesday, September 9, at the fourth annual Welcome Reception for new LGBTQ community members and allies.

Babson Earns LGBTQ-Friendly Campus Listing

We are proud to announce that Babson has eaned 4.5 stars in this year's Campus Pride Index's LGBT-Friendly Campus list, which assesses campuses on eight different LGBTQ-friendly factors. This improved rating reflects the many changes made across campus to improve our support of our LGBTQ community members.

Babson Celebrates Pride in Boston and San Francisco

Join Babson's LGBTQ and Ally community celebrated Pride in Boston and San Francisco this year with an enthusiastic contingent of students, faculty/staff, alumni, and Biz-E. We marched in Boston's Pride Parade and joined the San Francisco Pride Celebration for our first year ever with a Babson booth.

View photos of over 100 students, faculty, and staff who participated in the Day of Silence photo shoot. The exhibit will be in the Global Lounge, on the second floor of Reynolds, through commencement.

35 Nominations Received for Inaugural Pride Awards

These awards recognize the contributions of Babson students, staff, faculty, alumni, and friends of the College who are engaged in creating a visibly welcoming campus community for LGBTQ individuals and their allies. Recipients of the Babson Pride awards will be announced at the annual Babson Lavender Graduation ceremony on May 15, 2014.
