Entrepreneurship is the most powerful force in the world for creating economic and social value. Babson College educates entrepreneurial leaders.

Babson provides a one-of-a-kind education that operates under what I call an umbrella of entrepreneurial magic. Faculty members in all disciplines teach Entrepreneurial Thought and Action® in a unique and unified curriculum. We prepare our students to make a difference in Entrepreneurship of All Kinds™—start-ups, large companies, family businesses, non-profits, or in any other context. And, we don’t just teach entrepreneurship: faculty, staff, and students live it. Beyond our campus, we are constantly finding new ways to take our teaching methods to the world—making these widely available to anyone, anywhere who aspires to be an entrepreneur.

The definition of entrepre- neurship is constantly evolving—becoming more broad-based, inclusive, lifelong, and relevant in any organization or context. At Babson we believe that entrepreneurial attitudes, skills, and tools are invaluable to success in our personal, as well as in our professional, lives.

Colleges and universities need to develop new student-centered learning models and continually renew their curriculum to prepare students to thrive in an uncertain and rapidly changing world. The ongoing upheaval in the economics of higher education make addressing these challenges all the more urgent.
