Why I Chose Babson
When I first visited Babson’s campus, I knew I had found a welcoming community that would prepare me to take on the world after graduation. I can remember how proud my parents looked on my first day as a student here, and it reminded me of how my acceptance into Babson has given me a special opportunity to accomplish amazing things. I served as the president of my student council in high school, and I saw Babson as a place where I could continue to develop as a leader.
How Babson Has Impacted My Career Development
Babson offers you many ways to grow as an individual and pursue your interests. Since my goal is to combine my deep-rooted interest in business with my enthusiasm for the legal field by becoming an in-house corporate lawyer, I’m currently a member of the Babson Law Society.
I’m also a Center for Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership (CWEL) Scholar. Being at CWEL has allowed me to have insightful discussions on gender and how to empower women through events such as effective communication, negotiation, personal branding, and strategic networking, further strengthening my love of leadership. I’ve found I’m passionate about discovering what makes a good leader, and I look forward to continuing to learn about the subject.
