What Piece of Advice Changed Your Life?
The best advice I’ve ever received came at the age of five from my grandpa when he taught me how to ride a horse for the first time. He had me catch a miniature horse named Peanuts, and shortly after I got on, Peanuts bucked me off. My grandpa said, “Try again,” so I did. Peanuts bucked me off again, and he said, “Try again.” This cycle happened about a dozen times until I started crying, hesitant about trying to get back on. My grandpa leaned down and said, “You get back on that horse. You always get back on the horse.” I got back on and have been riding ever since. That day I learned that if you are persistent and never give up, you can achieve your goals.

Why Does the World Need More Leaders with an Entrepreneurial Mindset?
Leaders with an entrepreneurial mindset take ownership of the challenges they have to overcome, and they think of solutions that are beneficial to every party involved to create value for everyone. In my opinion, there are a lot of leaders who like to stay comfy and cozy in the way they’ve always done things. Entrepreneurs can identify when the old way isn’t working and are comfortable thinking outside the box to arrive at an innovative solution.
