What is your pre-Babson experience?
I attended Visvesvaraya Technological University. I previously was CEO at Koffee Media Private Limited.
Why did you choose Babson for your graduate education?
I wanted to get into a college/university which could help me to pursue my entrepreneurship goals and provide me access to the wonderful network of students across the world. Entrepreneurship in only one area such as technology was not what I was looking for as I was already good in technology. I was looking for a school which attracts Entrepreneurs of all Kinds from around the world and Babson was the right school that fit my requirements.
As a Babson student, what did you do when not in class?
As a student, I was vice president of technology for the Graduate Student Council, where I had the opportunity not only to handle the technology issues but also to come up with solutions for the problems related to students in general. Among the many projects I worked on in this leadership role, I collaborated with graduate school deans to use analytical tools to assist with electives registration, partnered with Information Technology to transition emailing lists to Google Groups, and designed the Babson Forum Website.
As the president of the Tech Club, I organized events with Oculus Rift, coordinated a mobile app workshop, and brought an internship panel and speaker series to the club, and much more. I also worked with the Blank Center on a speaker series with Jason Craparo (MBA'14), a homegrown Babson entrepreneur, and helped them market their DeMystifying App Development event. The Blank Center's team personally thanked me for making this event a huge success not only for Blank Center but also for students to learn a valuable life skill.
What was your favorite part of the Babson student experience?
I love the Babson campus. It's the best. From the Blank Center to Roger's Pub, you always have something interesting to do.
