NEW Student Fall Orientation

The Babson community is excited to welcome new students to campus for the Fall semester!

Friday, August 29–Tuesday, September 2, 2014

New Student Orientation is a comprehensive program designed to introduce new students to Babson and the resources available on campus. New students will have the opportunity to meet faculty, staff, and current students.

Orientation Schedule

The Orientation schedule is designed to introduce students to the community, academics, and campus life at Babson.

Move-In and Check-In Information

Students should arrive on Friday, August 29 starting at 8:30 a.m. Check-in runs from 8:30 a.m.–2 p.m.; all new students are required to check-in at this time. It is important that students and families attend orientation sessions beginning at 2:30 p.m., so if you are moving into a residence hall on this day, please be sure to arrive prior to 2 p.m. to get settled.

All students and families should report immediately to Knight Auditorium to attend check-in – DO NOT go directly to the student's residence hall, as you will not have the keys to access the room. At check-in, students will receive their residence hall keys, laptops, and OneCards. Once completing the check-in process at Knight, students and families will follow the move-in instructions provided by the Office of Residence Life when they were provided their room keys.

Park Manor Quad, where many first-year students live, is currently undergoing construction of a new residence hall. Your cooperation and patience as we work around this obstacle is greatly appreciated.

Students not living on campus should still check-in at Knight Auditorium to pick up their laptops and OneCards.

International Student Move-In

Students travelling to Babson internationally on Student Visas are able to move onto campus on Thursday, August 28. Students should reference communication with the Glavin Office regarding move-in times and locations. All international students are also required to check-in for Orientation on Friday, August 29, at Knight Auditorium.
