Interviews at Babson
Interviews are an excellent opportunity to have a one-on-one conversation with an admission counselor or student admission intern so that we can get to know you in person prior to beginning the application review process.
If you choose to interview with us you should be prepared to talk about yourself and your interest in Babson, and bring any questions you would like to discuss. A summary of our conversation with you will become part of your admission file and can be influential in the decision we make.
There is no suggested dress code for the interview, but you should remember that this may be your first and only one-on-one meeting with a member of our admission staff.
While we enjoy getting to know our applicants during the interview process, we realize that not everyone is able to schedule an interview; for this reason, students who choose not to schedule an interview will not be penalized in our admission process. Additionally, for those students unable to schedule an on-campus interview, alumni interviews may be available in your area. Please contact our office for more details. As an alternative to on-campus or alumni interviews, applicants from China have the option to schedule an interview through InitialView.com.
We respectfully request that your interview be scheduled prior to your arrival on campus to ensure that we have someone available to meet with you. Interviews can be scheduled by calling the Office of Undergraduate Admission toll-free (within the U.S.) at 800-488-3696 or at 781-239-5522.
On-campus interviews for students interested in applying to Babson for Fall 2014 will be available through Friday, November 15th. Students planning to apply for Early Decision or Early Action are encouraged to schedule their interviews prior to the November 1st deadline.
In addition to our usual weekday schedule, we will also offer interviews on campus on Saturday, October 19th and Saturday, October 26th. Interviews will be offered every half hour between 1:00 and 3:00PM. To schedule an interview, please email us at email@example.com and include your full name, mailing address and two preferred time slots. To schedule an interview on a weekday, please call our office at 800-488-3696 or 781-239-5522 and we will be happy to arrange a time that is convenient for you.
Interviews are strongly recommended for prospective transfer students. Interviews for students interested in transferring for the Spring Semester (beginning January 2014) will be available through October 15, 2013.
