Program Overview
Join us for this spring's Price-Babson Symposium for Entrepreneurship Educators, May 28 - June 1, 2012. Participants register as a team of one academic and one entrepreneur, or can register individually. Attendance is limited to 60 participants to preserve the intimacy and collegiality of the program. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
As the recognized leader in entrepreneurship education, Babson College seeks to raise the quality, the content and the process of teaching entrepreneurship through our Symposia for Entrepreneurship Educators (SEE) programs.
During an intensive four-day period, participants explore the entrepreneurial process, the “art and craft” of teaching and learning entrepreneurship. The program provides an introduction to case method teaching and live, venture-based teaching methodologies. Attendees are encouraged to identify, plan, and personalize their entry (or re-entry) strategy into academia, and to improve as teachers, learners, researchers, colleagues, and entrepreneurs. They identify and explore new content, programs, and materials.
This flagship open enrollment program is held on Babson's campus with the goal of building an international cadre of educators who understand the importance of combining entrepreneurship theory and practice in teaching. Cross-disciplinary educators from around the world are invited to attend this innovative and practical program.
Participant Mix
This program is designed for academics or entrepreneurs from any discipline who teach or have a desire to teach entrepreneurship. Participants are encouraged to register as a team of one academic and one entrepreneur or a team of two academics. Participants also may register individually.
