New Tennis Courts
Completed November 2017
View of the eight new tennis courts.
Eight new tennis courts to replace the existing courts adjacent to the Webster Center will be constructed in the area between the back of the Van Winkle residence hall and the Babson Ice Rink and Boston Sports Club complex.
The new courts will provide a first-rate surface for Babson varsity teams, recreational athletes, and summer programs. The courts will be enhanced with court-side bleacher seating as well as additional seating areas in an elevated area outside the fence. Hours of use will be extended with the addition of lighting on all courts.

Coming Soon: The New Babson Recreation and Athletics Center
Construction late summer 2017–fall 2019.
The Babson Recreation and Athletics Center (BRAC) project will provide renovations to the existing Webster Center and a new state-of-the-art multipurpose facility for a wide range of uses to benefit the entire Babson community. There will be a large new recreation center which will enhance opportunities for recreational, club and intramural sports as well as provide a space for large scale campus-wide events. The BRAC project also includes a large new fitness-recreation space and multipurpose rooms for recreation and a range of other uses. For varsity athletics, the project includes dedicated team rooms for each varsity sport, an improved sports medicine area and improved administrative spaces to support athletics.
The Webster Center is expected to remain open as usual, with the exception of summer 2018 when the building (except Staake Gymnasium) will be closed for renovations. Please note that beginning August 2017, 22 parking spaces in the Webster lot will be blocked off to assist with construction logistics.
Private support for Babson’s investment in the Babson Recreation & Athletics Center will make this project truly transformative. For more information on how you can be a part of this extraordinary opportunity, please

Coming Soon: Weissman Foundry
Construction Winter 2018–fall 2018
The Weissman Foundry will be a new building centrally located between the hearts of Babson's and Olin's campuses on Map Hill Drive across from Trim Parking Lot. The approximately 9,800 square foot building will have space available for student project workspaces, prototyping resources, experiential teaching spaces, social kitchen, and conference and group study space. The purpose of the building is to serve the needs of students pursuing entrepreneurial ventures where physical prototyping is central, promoting greater collaboration with the Olin College of Engineering, and Wellesley College; and complementing existing "innovation spaces" on campus available in the Olin Graduate School of Business and the Leonard A. Schlesinger First Year Innovation Center, particularly by providing a dedicated "messy" project workspace where students can work on projects at all hours.
