High School Students
Babson's Summer Study for High School Students allow high school students to use the summer to advance one's knowledge of business and entrepreneurship and understand how to make a difference in the world. Students become part of a collaborative collegiate community that works together to gain the tools and hands-on experience to impact and reshape organizations, industries, and the world while practicing Babson’s unique method of Entrepreneurial Thought and Action before you even start applying to college.
Summer Study includes a residential program, Babson Entrepreneurial Development Experience: Entrepreneurship of All Kinds, which immerses students in classes and real world experiences to learn the ins and outs of starting a business. The Babson Service Learning Experience provides an opportunity to make a social impact while completing community service hours. Babson also collaborates with LeadAmerica to offer the High School Business & Entrepreneurship Summer Conference to help students advance their business and leadership knowledge.
The Global Leadership Development Experience invites a select number of rising junior and senior Babson students and passionate social entrepreneurs from partner colleges all over the globe to work together to create innovative, real-world solutions to social, economic, and environmental issues. Students will spend the month of June studying current trends to address these issues while learning a framework for how to develop an actionable approach to solve these challenges. Students will also participate in a consulting project for a corporation or nonprofit that directly affects an issue addressed by the United Nations Millennium Development Goals.
Summer session at Babson provide college students with the opportunity to work with Babson faculty and staff in an even more personal and accessible environment. Babson in the summer is not much different than any other semester. Learning concepts such as integrated curricula, cross-functional team teaching, and practical experience are all emphasized.
