Howie Rice has been named Executive Vice President at Babson College. In this role, he will assume a broad mandate as operating executive for institution capacity building and strategy implementation across Babson’s platform of academic and functional activities.

His initial assignment will be as President and Chief Operating Officer of Babson Global, a new venture focused on taking Babson’s highly-regarded entrepreneurship expertise to the global marketplace in product and service formats that complement and extend Babson’s traditional offerings in undergraduate, graduate and executive education. 

Rice came to Babson from Monitor, where he was a Partner and served in a broad array of senior executive, operations, human asset/talent development, financial and client service roles as Monitor grew from a small start-up into a global management consultancy with over 1,500 employees and 25 offices around the world.

Babson College in Wellesley, Mass., is recognized internationally as a leader in entrepreneurial management education.
