Babson students helping peers master core coursework and skills.
Academic Mentors (AMs) serve as the student academic advisors of the Office of Academic Services.
AMs are available Monday through Thursday from 12:30–4:30 p.m. on a walk-in basis.
Through one-on-one peer academic advising, campus programming, and interactive class presentations, AMs provide their undergraduate peers with opportunities for academic development while promoting the unique programs offered by Academic Services (such as cross-registration, off-campus coursework, etc.).
AMs also assist the Learning Center through advising and programming that aims to educate and teach students valuable skills needed to be academically successful at Babson College.
AMs are academically accomplished rising juniors and seniors with extensive training on the Babson curriculum, course selection, registration processes, strategies for academic success, and academic policies.

The goal of the SPARK Peer Tutoring Program at Babson is to aid in students’ confidence and mastery of the subject, and to augment their overall learning to bring them to the next level as a student—no matter the level at which they start.
The SPARK Program provides free peer tutoring on six core undergraduate requirements:
Managerial Accounting (OEM2311)
Financial Accounting (ACC1300)
SPARK Peer Tutors are chosen through a selective application and interview process, and are extensively trained to work with students to support their overall understanding and enhancement of concepts and skills.
