Katherine Teixeira-DaSilva, FNP-BC​

Nurse Practitioner

Katherine joined the Health Services Staff at Babson as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2007.  She obtained her Masters in Nursing at University of Massachusetts Boston after completion of the Urban Family Nurse Practitioner Program in 1998.  Katherine was board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in 1998. 

While developing her role as Nurse Practitioner, Katherine practiced for many years in family medical practices in Jamaica Plain and Arlington, Massachusetts. Through her experience in these settings, she found that she truly enjoyed working with the young adult population.
Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Katherine worked as a Registered Nurse. She received her Bachelors of Nursing degree in 1991 from University of Rochester. After graduation, she served active duty for four years in the United States Air Force as a Registered Nurse. While in the Air Force she worked in surgical units and the Emergency Department. She was voluntarily honorably discharged from the military in 1995 and is a military veteran. 

Outside of the office she enjoys a range of outdoor sports and travel. She lives in a neighboring town with her husband, two kids, two cats and a dog.
