The Walter H. Carpenter Prize
In 1981, Babson established the Walter H. Carpenter Prize for Exceptional Contributions to Babson College.
This award was named for Walter Carpenter, former Professor of Industrial Relations, Chair of the Management Division, Dean of Faculty, and Vice President of Academic Affairs, and it is considered one of Babson’s most prestigious awards for a faculty or staff member.
As part of Babson’s Centennial Celebrations, we’d like to create the Centennial Carpenter Award to be given to one faculty and one staff member who embody what Walter Carpenter, and Babson, have stood for for the past 100 years.
