The mission is to advance Diversity and Inclusion to permeate the fabric of the Babson community by fostering greater connections among Babson’s Black alumni and to have a meaningful impact on the experience of current and future students.

Annual Black Affinity Conference

The 2017 Black Affinity Conference was held Friday, February 24th-Sunday, February 26th

​This theme-driven conference was designed by a committee of alumni, current students, faculty, and administrators to present a program of professional development and networking.​ This year's theme was Entrepreneuring While Black.

2017 Black Affinity Achievement Award

The Black Affinity Achievement Award was established in 2004 to recognize an alumnae or community member who distinguishes themselves in their given field as well as supports the college community around issues of diversity. Please congratulate this year's receipients Katrina Fludd '08, MS '10 and Sadie Burton-Goss, Chief Diversity Officer.

Black Affinity Network Leadership Retreat

Mark your calendars for the 2017 Black Affinity Network Leadership Retreat in Washington D.C. June 2nd-4th, 2017.  

This student leadership retreat is a professional development retreat for participants in the Alumni Advisor Program as well as the governing boards of the multiple student organizations within the Black Affinity Network.  

This retreat will take place in Washington D.C. and feature a trip to the new Smithsonian Institution museum, the National Museum of African American History and Culture. This is a unique opportunity for individuals across the Babson community to bond, reflect, and be inspired.

Volunteer Opportunities

Interested in getting involved and supporting the Black Affinity Network and Babson College in other ways. 

Interested in becoming an Alumni Advisor to an incoming student.  This unique mentorship program offers our BAN alumni an opportunity to build a relationship with an undergraduate student.  This intentional program is a wonderful way to give back and build an impactful relationship.  If interested in being an Alumni Advisor please email Denning Aaris
