Consumers today are busier than ever, and technological advancements over the past ten years have enabled people to skip over TV ads, ignore pop-up ads, and avoid junk-mail and junk-email. People are communicating with each other more, albeit online, through the various social networks.   The consumer is getting harder and harder to reach, and firms are trying to figure out the best way to connect with the masses.  
 
Over the past few years, social media has come into the forefront as a cost-effective tool to not only connect to the consumer but extend the shopping experience out of the store and into the consumers’ homes, laptops, and smartphones.   In the CPG industry, this new source of outreach has offered a new medium for firms to solidify their place in a competitive environment.  It’s up to them to figure out how to best utilize this opportunity.

World Stage, Babson’s premier entrepreneurship education fundraising event, will induct the 2012 honorees into the Academy of Distinguished Entrepreneurs in the Innovation District at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center.

Join us for an evening of celebration in honor of the 15th Anniversary of the Coaching for Leadership and Teamwork Program.

The event will feature guest speaker Ken Romanzi '82, Chief Operating Officer at Ocean Spray.

There are many opportunities for individuals and corporations to support the CLTP 15th Anniversary Celebration.  All proceeds will directly benefit the CLTP program.
