Babson Alumni Supporting Entrepreneurs

(formerly Babson Alumni Resource Network, BARN)

Babson Alumni Supporting Entrepreneurs (BASE), formerly the Babson Alumni Resource Network, is a unique program that provides practical support for Babson Alumni Entrepreneurs by connecting them to other experienced alumni who act as business advisors, helping to clarify issues and explore options for start-up businesses and existing companies trying to move to their next level of success.  BASE Teams work with Alumni Entrepreneurs as sounding boards and coaches, providing insights and perspectives, based on their own business experience and expertise.

Apply to be a BASE Alumni Entrepreneur

If you are a Babson alum with a specific business need who would like to receive counseling from a team of well-qualified Babson alumni, please complete an Alumni Entrepreneur Application. Once we have received your application, a member of the BASE Leadership Team will contact you, assemble a small team of alumni business advisors and schedule a meeting.

Become a BASE Advisor

If you are a Babson alum who would like to advise and mentor Alumni Entrepreneurs, to help them tackle specific business issues or develop strategies to grow their businesses, please complete an Advisor Application. A BASE Leadership Team member will talk with you about your business experience and expertise, and about the areas in which you can help our Alumni Entrepreneurs.  Each BASE Advisor can expect to be invited onto three to four projects during the year.  BASE projects typically involve three to five hours of meetings, normally via telephone conferences, during the course of thirty to ninety days.
