The Entrepreneurship Bootcamp is the framework for getting it done—and improving your venture’s chance of success. During this intensive, hands-on experience, world-renowned Babson faculty who, through teaching entrepreneurship, have helped thousands of successful entrepreneurs launch and grow their businesses, will guide you through the certificate coursework. You also will grow a global network of entrepreneurs who can offer you experienced advice and support.

 

This is a five-day, in-person intensive course for those who thrive in executive bootcamp environments or other corporate training programs. It ends with rocket pitches that are recorded, peer-reviewed, and scored.

Adjunct Lecturer John Hallal has a track record of success in entrepreneurship, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and in operating and advising emerging growth companies. Through his company, Network Blue, Hallal advises middle market companies in various forms of M&A transactions. As an adjunct lecturer at Babson College’s F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, he teaches M&A for Entrepreneurs, serves as a Mentor in Babson’s Launch Pad, and more.

Adjunct Lecturer of Entrepreneurship

Adjunct Lecturer Beth Goldstein has more than 30 years of experience helping entrepreneurs, executives, educators, and students worldwide launch and grow their organizations and careers. She holds a doctorate in education from Johns Hopkins University. Deep in the practice of living and teaching entrepreneurship, Goldstein is driven to support adult learning, viewing this as the cornerstone of success and change.

Lewis Family Distinguished Professor in Social Innovation

An internationally recognized expert on entrepreneurship, Professor Phil Kim studies, teaches, and advises on different aspects of how entrepreneurial ideas become reality. Widely published and a sought-after conference speaker, he also regularly advises entrepreneurs on issues related to launching and establishing their businesses, and coaches student entrepreneurs as they start their businesses. Prior to becoming an academic, he worked as a management consultant.

Smaiyra Million P’21 is an experienced CEO, investor, and advocate for advancing the entrepreneurial ecosystem. She spent 30 years as a successful operator of luxury hotels, spas, and health clubs. As CEO of Millennium Partners Sports Club Management, she was named to the Top 100 Women Led Businesses in Massachusetts in 2011, 2012. and 2013. In 2014, she was inducted into the YW Academy of Women Achievers. She is the former executive director of the Arthur M. Blank Center for Entrepreneurship at Babson College.

John H. Muller Jr. Professor of Entrepreneurial Studies

Professor Andrew (Zach) Zacharakis is the director of the Babson College Entrepreneurship Research Conference and the former president of the Entrepreneurship Division of the Academy of Management. He is the author of five books, and his work has been published in numerous academic journals. Prior to his work at Babson, he held investment banking/venture capital positions with The Cambridge Companies, a Los Angeles firm that invested in retail concepts and movie partnerships. Today, Zacharakis is an active angel investor in seed stage deals.
