Babson College today announced that it has been recognized by Bloomberg Businessweek as the No. 5 part-time MBA program in the Northeast, ahead of Boston University at No. 6. Nationally, Babson is ranked No. 34.
Within this ranking, recent graduates also gave Babson a grade of A+ for teaching quality and a grade of A+ for curriculum.
“These well-earned accolades are testament to the outcomes, both personally and professionally, that our students have experienced as a result of the Babson MBA evening program,” said Babson Provost and Senior Vice President Dennis Hanno. “This ranking in particular reflects feedback from alumni of the program, and we are proud that they have leveraged their Babson MBA experience to advance their career path.”
Continuous improvement is a driver in keeping the Babson MBA part-time program competitive and relevant for today’s students. Babson recently added a capstone experience for evening students that enhances the culmination of the curriculum through a two-course focus on the perspective, roles, and work of the CEO.
Additionally, in the Bloomberg Businessweek 2013 biannual rankings, Babson Executive and Enterprise Education (BEEE) moved up two spots to No. 11 in the world for its Custom Programs. This also marks a move up to No. 5 in the U.S. for Custom Programs. BEEE also went from unranked to No. 17 in the world No. 11 in the U.S. for its Open Enrollment Programs. The rankings are based on a survey of corporate clients that enroll executives in the programs. “We are proud of this great recognition of the dedication and talent of our faculty and staff, who work tirelessly to exceed the expectations of a diverse set of clients around the world,” said Dean Elaine Eisenman.
