U.S. Department of Education College ScorecardAccording to the third annual U.S. Department of Education College Scorecard, Babson College undergraduate alumni earn a median salary of approximately $91,400 ten years after entering college. This is more than double the national median salary of $34,100.

The U.S. Department of Education ranks Babson No. 2 for alumni earnings among national business program peers, and No. 6 among all private colleges.

“Whether our students launch their own ventures, rejoin family businesses, or positively impact existing organizations, we are proud to know their Babson College experience prepared them to create great economic and social value in any context,” said President Kerry Healey. “We are pleased to once again be recognized by the Department of Education as one of the nation’s top colleges for alumni earnings and the extraordinary value we deliver to students and their families.”

According to the College Scorecard, Babson enjoys a graduation rate of 89 percent compared to the national average of 42 percent, while 96 percent of students return after their first year compared to the national average of just 68 percent.

In Massachusetts, Babson is the No. 3 college for median alumni salary, above Harvard University, Tufts University, Boston College, Boston University, Amherst College, and more.

Babson is a demonstrated leader in education return on investment (ROI). The College was recently ranked the No. 1 private business school for salary potential by PayScale for the third consecutive year. PayScale also ranked Babson the No. 1 private business school for ROI earlier in the year.

Babson also continues to innovate around college affordability, having recently announced an opportunity for students to pursue an accelerated path to an undergraduate degree that would enable them to graduate in as little as three years. This option could increase return on investment for students, reduce tuition by up to 25 percent, and has a potential immediate financial benefit of up to $105,931.
