Undergraduate Alumni Admissions Interviewers

Recognizing the value of engaging alumni in the applicant interview process for our undergraduate applicants, in fall 2013 Babson launched the Alumni Interview Program to bring prospective students together with the alumni network they are seeking to join.

Volunteer interviewers participate in a pre-interview training session led by a Babson Admission officer. Topics covered include updates on the College, an overview of the Babson admission process, and interview procedures.

Interview Days are held in select cities; locations may vary from year to year.  Trained alumni volunteers provide interview write-ups on each candidate they meet, contact their interviewees who were admitted in the spring, and attend a local area event.  A regional chair works closely with the Admission and Alumni & Friends Network staff to assist with logistics and serve as the primary contact on the Interview Days.

Virtual interviews are conducted via Skype for students who reside in locations where Interview Days are not held and/or to accommodate students who may not be able to attend the Interview Days.

For the Alumni Interview Program, we are seeking undergraduate alumni volunteers who graduated within the last 5 years.

To learn more about the specific responsibilities and time commitment, please review the  position description.
To volunteer, please contact Cheryl Borden, Associate Director, Undergraduate Admission.

Undergraduate Alumni Welcome Volunteers

Alumni volunteers are sought to welcome Early Decision, Early Action, and Regular Decision undergraduate students to the Babson community.

Specifically, we are seeking undergraduate alumni who graduated within the last 10 years who would outreach to admitted students via email to congratulate them, to serve as a point of interaction with the Alumni Network, and to share their perspective as an alumnus/a.

To volunteer, please contact alumrel@babson.edu.

Undergraduate College Fairs

The Undergraduate Admission staff travels the world each fall, and, although they visit schools far and wide, there are always places they cannot reach.  With an alumni network that spans six continents, we invite you to consider representing Babson at local college fairs in your area.

To learn more, please contact Cheryl Borden, Associate Director, Undergraduate Admission.

Graduate Roundtables

The Graduate Admissions staff travels around the world each year hosting small, intimate gatherings of prospective MBA students interested in studying here at Babson. We always love to have local alumni/ae join the conversation and share their personal personal perspectives on what it was like to attend and graduate from Babson.

To learn more, please contact Danielle Yetman, Senior Associate Director, Graduate Admission.
