Community of Developers & Entrepreneurs (CODE)
CODE was founded in Fall 2015 by a group of students passionate about the intersection of technology and business. CODE helps Babson students develop technological skill sets to match their entrepreneurial mindsets. CODE is the go-to campus resource for anything and everything tech, and we’re here to help guide you through the intersection of business and technology.
CREATE/theStudio
CREATE aspires to enrich the Babson community by encouraging all Babson students to create. CREATE supports the creative-themed living community theStudio and serves as an umbrella for all artistic and creative organizations at Babson. Through engaging meetings, creative workshops, and exciting events, we aim to show students the value of the arts both inside and outside of a business environment, all while providing the tools and space to create the future of business. Additionally, we hope to build bridges with other clubs within the greater Babson Arts community, in order to foster the long-term growth of the visual, performing, and musical arts on campus. We believe that by harnessing the creative, entrepreneurial spirit of Babson students, we can establish an organization that encourages our fellow Babson peers to be more creative so as to create the future of business.
E-Tower
E-Tower was the first special-interest housing organization to start on campus. This group of students is passionate about developing business ideas through the network of peers living in the tower. The tower is the heart of entrepreneurship in action at the College.
GIVE Tower
GIVE Tower will exist to cultivate a humanitarian spirit, build a force for volunteerism in the local community, and promote the interchange of social ideas. GIVE Tower is a special interest housing program that will arm its residents with an in-depth understanding of social issues. In alliance with the Office of Faith and Service, community members will identify opportunities to create a positive social impact in the greater Boston area.
Healthy-Living Tower
The Healthy-Living Tower (H-Tower) is a special-interest tower dedicated to the core ideals of healthy living and community outreach. Our programs are focused on giving back to Babson and local communities, and on developing and maintaining a healthy lifestyle in all aspects of everyday life. The H-Tower is a living environment dependent on community response and accountability, all while maintaining a substance-free lifestyle. Being a catalyst for positive change, action, and responsibility is what we’re all about.
ONE Tower: Origins of Necessary Equality
Origins for Necessary Equality (ONE) aims to promote an environment where individuals from various origins can come together and share once-in-a-lifetime experiences in a community that supports each member and the culture that he/she represents. The community as a whole can then embark on a journey together to create new memories through living and learning in an academic community while giving back to Babson through various events and programs. ONE recognizes the value of a helping hand, and is committed to furthering this reciprocal action through its commitment to community service.
The House/Babson Political Association
The Babson Political Association (BPA) aims to promote healthy political discussion and participation on campus. We provide an inclusive space for students from diverse backgrounds to learn about and contribute to both national and international politics. Additionally, BPA hosts a number of annual events that help bring politics more directly onto campus.
Women Giving Back
Women Giving Back brings women together who are looking to help others and dedicate themselves to the community in their free time. Women Giving Back participates in community service activities both on and off campus. Members take pride in the extreme dedication of serving the same two off-campus group homes once a week, as well as participating in many on-campus service activities. This organization is made up of intelligent, genuine, unassuming women who focus on providing service learning opportunities that are both impactful and memorable.
