    Building Undergraduate Resumes

    When: Wednesday, February 4th 2026, 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm EST Location: Olin Hall ;, Room 120, 4 Babson College Drive, Wellesley, MA 02482, USA The resume is the foundation for nearly all professional development endeavors. Regardless of where you may find yourself (applying for internships or full/part-time employment, researching graduate school programs, or networking at the career fair) each of these activities requires, at minimum, a college level resume. This workshop will involve reviewing resumes basics, discussing ways to move from a high school to an undergraduate resume, and identifying strategies for promoting yourself in the way you want to be seen by an employer. ------What if I have an academic, athletic or religious commitment that may result in a later arrival or early departure from a Career Event? CCD recognizes that students have various commitments, including academic, athletic, and religious, that may result in a late arrival or early departure for a career-related event.     When: Wednesday, February 4th 2026, 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm EST Location: Blank Center ; , Hamilton Exhibit Room, 1 Lunder Way, Wellesley, MA 02482, USA 🧠 Hosted By:Undergraduate Center for Career Development (CCD), KMH Center, Graduate Healthcare Club, and Undergraduate Healthcare & Life Sciences Club✨ Event Description:Join us for an engaging professional development event designed to support students from non-STEM backgrounds interested in pursuing careers in the life sciences industry. The event will begin with a 45-minute Interview workshop led by Lauren Celano, co-founder and CEO of Propel Careers. Following the workshop, enjoy a 30-minute alumni speaker panel featuring three Babson alumni who will share insights on navigating the job search, breaking into the industry, and building a fulfilling career.Alumni Panelists: Bryce Coleman'22 - Senior Financial Analyst @ Vertex Pharmaceuticals Colby Thomson'23 - Corporate Social Responsibility Associate @ Thermo Fisher Scientific  Jenn (MacAuley) Schlesinger'16 & MBA'24 - Accounting Manager @ Biogen  We’ll close with optional networking time for students to connect with alumni, the presenter, and peers as well as dinner.  Workshop Host Bio:Lauren Celano is the co-founder and CEO of Propel Careers, a life science search and career development firm and is also the co-founder of the Propelling Careers podcast.  She has recruited for more than 60 innovative life sciences organizations and has coached thousands of students, postdocs, medical residents and professionals to advance their careers since co-founding Propel in 2009. Lauren presents often on career development topics to inspire the next generation of talent. Before Propel, she spent about 10 years in life sciences advancing drug molecules through SNBL USA, Aptuit, Quintiles, and Absorption Systems. She has a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Gettysburg College and an MBA (focused in the health sector and entrepreneurship) from Boston University.  She is on Boards including: MassBioEd (Chair), MassBio, National Tay-Sachs & Allied Diseases Association and Advisory Boards: the Professional Science Masters Program at Framingham State University and NE Graduate Women in Science.    Find out more Green Chevron
