Ken holds a BS in Engineering from Bucknell, an MS in Computer Science from Virginia Tech and an MBA from Babson.

Mr. Amovic joined Babson College in January of 2017, teaching courses within Technology, Innovation & Operations Management and Mathematics and Science Departments.
At its core, Mr. Amovic's professional background is focused on intersection of innovation, quantitative analysis and operations management. More specifically, it includes a bifurcated approach of almost entirely contrasting aspects of disruptive innovation roles on one hand, and a highly structured and rigid operations management challenges of the same process on the other. Mr. Amovic's diverse background consists of tactical, engineering roles followed by a progressive transition into senior leadership handling strategic challenges of product management or engineering program management in electronic consumables, medical, defense, and telecommunications industries.
A natural interplay of innovation management and strategic consideration related to intellectual property led Mr. Amovic to the pursuit of legal education. It is during his law school career that Mr. Amovic developed a captivating research interest in introduction and implementation of quantitative methods, predictive simulation modeling and decision making in legal, regulatory, or intellectual property management.
Mr. Amovic has also lectured at the Southern New Hampshire University graduate on-campus program, and Boston College undergraduate and graduate courses. In addition to university teaching, Mr. Amovic has an extensive experience of teaching quantitative methods, applied technologies and change management courses and seminars within industry as well.

Tom Davenport is the President's Distinguished Professor of Information Technology and Management at Babson College, co-founder of the International Institute for Analytics, Fellow at the MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy, and Senior Advisor to Deloitte Analytics. He teaches analytics/big data in executive programs at Babson, Harvard Business School and School of Public Health, and MIT Sloan School.

Davenport pioneered the concept of “competing on analytics” with his best-selling 2006 Harvard Business Review article and 2007 book. His most recent book is The AI Advantage: How to Put the Artificial Intelligence Revolution to Work. He wrote or edited nineteen other books and over 200 articles for Harvard Business Review, Sloan Management Review, The Financial Times, and many other publications. He is a regular contributor to the Wall Street Journal and Forbes. Kathleen “Kathy” Dean

Kathy brings over 30 years of industry experience to the classroom, with the majority of her career focused on the delivery of innovative technology services and products in the financial services and benefits arena. Beginning her career as a software developer, Kathy continually progressed to the executive level, where she led several large global product development organizations.

In her most recent corporate assignment, Kathy led the development of the health care platforms for Fidelity Investments, including the formation of an agile development organization within the long-standing, mature benefits business of Fidelity. This role required deep business acumen, experience with a wide array of technologies, and the ability to form and gel global, high-performing teams. Kathy was instrumental in conceptualizing, championing, and leading the build of this open-source, cloud-native health administration platform. Throughout her career, Kathy has been consistently recognized for exceptional delivery in engineering, software development and high-quality product capabilities.

While leading the execution of this multi-million dollar technology delivery portfolio, Kathy was also chartered with setting the strategic direction of new product offerings, driving the modernization of existing technical ecosystem in alignment with the firm's priorities, and evaluating opportunities for innovation.

Kathy is also an active proponent of diversity in technology programs, mentoring and advocating for diversity of staffing and advancement in technology organizations.

As a global real estate advisor for Gibson Sotheby's International Realty, Kathy also help clients buy and sell real estate, specializing on Cape Cod real estate. In the spring, Kathy will also be an assistant coach for women's lacrosse at Nauset High School in Eastham, MA.

He has held executive roles at AWS, SAP, American Express, Fidelity Investments, US West, Affinity Group, iXL and leadership roles in several specialized consulting firms - experiences that bring in-practice application and energy to his courses.

Ken currently teaches MBA and Blended Learning students in both the Marketing and Operations & Information Management divisions - Consumer Behavior, Analytic Managers & Organizations and Competing on Analytics courses. Additionally, he has developed and taught Strategic Marketing Planning, Marketing Analytics and Strategic Customer Management. He has served as advisor on 4 JMCFE projects, leading students in Marketing and Sales strategies for clients in Italy and Switzerland; proudly working with teams that have had a big impact for their clients. Further academically, he has developed courses for Babson Global and other institutions, and was co-sponsor and curriculum contributor to an analytic program for high school seniors in Boston, offered at a local Community College.

Beyond his teaching, Ken has shared his expertise in programs and advisement targeted to entrepreneurs, small businesses and government entities. He has authored numerous articles and often speaks and writes on the topics where there is a focus on Customers or a confluence of marketing art and analytic science, and has been a contributor to related research. His work in analytic innovation has been recognized through receiving a Genius Award at the ANA.

Ken holds an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business, a BA in Economics from New York University, a certificate in Leadership in Professional Services Firms from Harvard Business School and a certificate in Direct Marketing from NYU. He has been on the faculty of the International Institute for Analytics, a Jury Member for I-COM, and has been an active member of various professional associations, and is an advisor to numerous small businesses.

Sebastian Fixson is Associate Dean of Academic Programs and Innovation at the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, and Professor of Innovation & Design, at Babson College. As Associate Dean, he oversees the management of current graduate programs and is also responsible for the initiation and launch of new initiatives.

Dr. Fixson concentrates his work on helping people and organizations build innovation capabilities. In his research, he investigates how factors such as structure and governance of innovation processes, practices like design thinking, and the use of digital design tools affect the nature and outcome of innovation work.

Dr. Fixson teaches innovation, design, and operations management related courses and executive education programs at Babson College, USA, and Universities and Companies around the World. In addition to his teaching, Dr. Fixson has innovated on new ways of teaching innovation, including programs, spaces, and simulations. From 2014-2017, he served as the founding Faculty Director of Babson's Master of Science in Management in Entrepreneurial Leadership (MSEL) program. He also works with industrial clients and partners in industries ranging from health care, to manufacturing, and to software.

Dr. Fixson's writes for both academic and practitioner audiences, and his work has appeared in books and journals such as Concurrent Engineering, Creativity and Innovation Management, Design Management Review, European Management Review, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Informs Transactions on Education, International Journal of Automotive Technology and Management, Journal of Operations Management, Journal of Product Innovation Management, MIT Sloan Management Review, Research Policy, Research-Technology Management, Technology Analysis & Strategic Management, as well as online outlets such as Harvard Business Review online. Ruth Gilleran brings over 20 years of industry experience to the classroom including 16 years in the software and 5 years in the consumer goods industry. Prior to joining Babson College in 2001, Ruth worked for Computer Associates where she was Assistant Vice President of Development for its business application division. While at Computer Associates, Ruth was responsible for the development of mainframe and midrange Business Intelligence, eCommerce, and ERP systems. Ms. Gilleran also worked for Cullinet Software where she was a Software Product Manager responsible for the launch of mainframe financial applications. Prior to entering the software field, Ms. Gilleran worked for the Gillette Company as the North American and Asia Pacific Internal Audit Supervisor. During that time period, she earned her CIA-Certified Internal Auditor certificate.

While at Babson, Ms. Gilleran has been recognized for her contributions to innovative teaching and curriculum development. In 2012,she was awarded the Dean's Award for Teaching Excellence in any program. In addition, she was named as Chair of the Babson Teaching Innovation Fund committee. The committee's mission is to encourage and facilitate the development and publication of new and innovative world class teaching materials by the Babson faculty.

Since joining Babson in 2001, Ms. Gilleran has shown tremendous versatility by teaching in the college's Undergraduate, One Year MBA, Fast Track MBA, Masters of Accounting, and Executive Education programs. Currently, Ms. Gilleran teaches courses in information management studies, general business and entrepreneurship. Prior to joining Babson College, she taught accounting courses at Northeastern University and conducted several IT training sessions for middle and senior-level managers.

Within the area of Information Technology Management, Ms. Gilleran's areas of expertise are Social Business, Business Intelligence, Software Project Management, and Systems Design and Implementation. Most recently, she has been involved in delivering virtual seminars on business intelligence, end-to-end computing, social business, and systems for entrepreneurs.

Professor Glover is a healthcare operations and innovation scholar. Her work takes a systems perspective to examine how improvement and innovation practices can achieve more equitable and effective outcomes in healthcare settings. She conducts research studies in a variety of countries, including the U.S., Mexico, Israel, South Africa, and Haiti, and engages undergraduate, graduate, and executive education students in implementation-focused experiential learning. Her work is featured in leading academic and practitioner outlets including International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Production Research, and Health Care Management Review.
As Founding Faculty Director of the KMH Center for Health Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Babson, Professor Glover developed the Center's strategy and core programs including the Global Health Innovation Lab. She currently co-leads three research teams within the Center and serves as co-PI on Babson's first NIH grant.
Professor Glover received recognition as the 2024 Tumaini Foundation Global Health Educator Award, 2022 Wickham Skinner Teaching Innovation Award from the Production and Operations Management Society (POMS), one of Poet & Quants Top 50 Undergraduate Professors in 2020, the Changemaker Award from the Institute of Social Innovation at Babson in 2018, and has won several best paper awards. She also serves at VP of Outreach for the College of Healthcare Operations Management within POMS and on the Research Committee for the Healthcare Management Division at the Academy of Management.
Professor Glover completed her postdoctoral studies at the Sociotechnical Systems Research Center at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), PhD and M.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering at Virginia Tech, B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Tech, and B.A. in Mathematics at Albany State University (GA).
Prior to her academic career, she worked as a consultant with Stockamp and Associates, implementing revenue cycle and process improvements in hospital settings. She is also Co-Founder and COO of Match Medical Practice Solutions, a healthcare revenue cycle management firm.

Dr. Emily Griffin is an Assistant Professor of Operations Management in the Operations and Information Management Division at Babson College. She received her Ph.D. in Operations Management in 2022 from The University of Alabama. Her research focuses on inventory and pricing optimization for resale supply chains using operations research and data science methods. She also works with an interdisciplinary team on an NSF funded project to research techniques for disrupting wildlife trafficking supply chains with analytical methods. Dr. Griffin has worked on several applied research projects, including a fulfillment optimization project for an online tire retailer and a seating optimization project for Alabama Athletics. Dr. Griffin previously served as the INFORMS Student Chapter President, Vice-President, and Secretary during her time at The University of Alabama. She has also served as a reviewer for OMEGA: The International Journal of Management Science and as an ad-hoc reviewer for European Journal of Operational Research and Computers & Operations Research. Prior to pursuing her Ph.D., Dr. Griffin worked for a textile manufacturer while obtaining her M. S. in Operations Management and B.S. in Commerce and Business Administration from The University of Alabama. She has previously taught courses on Computer Simulation and Introduction to Operations Management and currently teaches Technology and Operations Management.

Additionally, Johnson developed Wayfair Canada strategy, private label credit card, and managed the 2013 acquisition of DwellStudio. Previously, Johnson founded and led operations for Intrepid Learning Solutions where he wrote the business plan, raised $16M funding, and executed the strategy to build a leading training and learning business, becoming #79 on the Inc 500 list of fastest growing companies. Successful exit as business was sold to Xerox Corporation and VitalSource. Johnson has over 15 years experience and success starting-up companies and managing businesses at EMC, PepsiCo, Polaroid, and KPMG with seven years spent internationally. Eric currently holds the position as the Director of Academic Technologies at Babson College where he leads a team of instructional designers, instructional technologists, and graphic designers. His responsibilities for the group include strategic thinking and planning around curriculum and faculty research, creating content for blended and online learning, training faculty, coaching, and implementing innovative academic technologies.

In addition to his work as Director of Academic Technologies, Eric is an adjunct instructor at Babson College, where he teaches web and user interface design along with communication and collaboration courses specializing in virtual technologies. Before joining Babson College, he worked for a number of consulting and design firms, including Nextera Enterprises. Eric also co-founded the design firm Drive Thru Designs.

Eric holds a BA in advertising and graphic design from Loyola University in Maryland. He is also a graduate of Babson College where he earned an MBA in the Spring of 2009. His postgraduate studies also include media theory at Emerson College.

Victor Seidel researches topics in technology and innovation management, with an emphasis on the evolving nature of the design process. He focuses on how managers, from those running start-ups to those in large R&D organizations, can best navigate from initial concept to final innovation. Increasingly, his work investigates how design teams use online communities as sources of continuous innovation.

He completed his undergraduate engineering degree at Cornell, an MBA at Cambridge and Ph.D. at Stanford. Prior to academia, he spent ten years with IBM Microelectronics where he developed several patented semiconductor device innovations, managed the business planning department for a billion-dollar division within IBM, and expanded the product marketing organization in Europe.

A dual British-American citizen, he was a founding academic director of the entrepreneurship and innovation center at Oxford's Said Business School, where he continues to serve as a visiting scholar. In addition to his position at Babson, he is a TECH Innovation Associate of the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. His areas of teaching include Technology and Innovation Management and Product Design and Development.

G. Shankaranarayanan (Shankar) obtained his Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from The University of Arizona, Eller School of Management. His research interests cover three primary areas: (1) Modeling and managing data and metadata in information systems, (2) Managing data quality for decision support, and (3) economic perspectives in data management. His research has appeared in journals including Journal of Data Management, Decision Support Systems, Communications of the ACM, Communications of the AIS, Journal of Information Technology Management, Journal of Computer Information Systems, International Journal of Information Quality, and IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering. His research has won the best paper awards at the International Conference on Information Quality (ICIQ) and at the Workshop of Information Technology and Systems (WITS). He serves as the Area Editor of the International Journal of Information Quality and as an Associate Editor of the ACM Journal for Data and Information Quality. Shankar has taught several courses ranging from introductory courses in information systems to advanced courses in data management and systems design. He received the Computer World Laureate honor from the Computer World Honors Program in 2008.

Donna Stoddard is Dean of Faculty and Professor in the Operations and Information Management (OIM) Division at Babson College. Dr. Stoddard teaches undergraduate, graduate, and executive education courses related to management information systems and business strategy. Before joining the Babson faculty, Dr. Stoddard was on the faculty at Harvard Business School where she taught in the MBA and executive education programs. She is a graduate of Creighton University, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Harvard Business School where she received her BS, MBA and DBA, respectively.

Dr. Stoddard has explored how small and large companies leverage enterprise systems to improve communication and collaboration. She completed a study which documented the "State of Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) in Massachusetts". In addition, she is conducting research related to digital government, electronic commerce, managing the IT infrastructure and IT business innovation. Dr. Stoddard has written a number of cases and articles on reengineering and the impact of information technology on the structure and strategy of the firm. Dr. Stoddard's articles have been published in such journals as Harvard Business Review, California Management Review, MIS Quarterly and Journal of MIS.

Before entering the doctoral program at the Harvard Business School, Dr. Stoddard spent several years in various marketing positions at IBM where she worked with large financial services and manufacturing companies, and she was on the audit staff at KPMG Peat Marwick Mitchell. Dr. Stoddard has served as a keynote speaker at management and senior executive conferences sponsored by KPMG Peat Marwick, Ernst & Young, The Travelers, MIT, Boston University, State Street Boston Corporation, Johnson and Johnson, and SIEMENS Rolm Communications.

Dr. Stoddard is currently on the Board of Directors for The Metro Group and previously served on the Technology Advisory Board for Benchmark Senior Living. She has extensive experience on non-profit boards. She served on the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee for Carroll School, Noble and Greenough School and The Meadowbrook School of Weston. She also served on the Board of Boys and Girls Club of Boston.
