It is with great pride that we welcome you to the Babson College Public Safety webpage and to the team of professionals serving this community. Here you can learn more about the services and support provided to our community, but more importantly get to know the individual team members that represent who we are and what we are committed to here at Babson.

Babson College follows the Town of Wellesley’s leash law requiring that when a dog is off the property of its owner or keeper, it must be on a leash not exceeding seven (7) feet and a dog must be under the control of its owner at all times while on any Babson College campus property.
About ALERRT (Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training)
ALERRT’s mission is to provide the best research-based active threat response training in the nation. ALERRT training and research saves lives and protects communities. The ALERRT Center at Texas State University was created in 2002 as a partnership between Texas State University, the San Marcos, Texas Police Department and the Hays County, Texas Sheriff’s Office to address the need for active threat response training for first responders.
The Babson College Police Department has integrated the ALERRT model into all its department training, policies, lesson plans, civilian response to active shooter training, and response procedures. We feel ALERRT is the most comprehensive research-based program that can be implemented to keep the Babson community safe from the threat of an active attack scenario. The Babson College Police Department currently has four ALERRT Instructors who teach Active Attack Response and Active Attack Integrated Response (Police, Fire, and EMS).
