As you begin your college experience, you can gain insight into the possibilities and challenges that lie ahead at Babson College. Join your first-year classmates and members of the Class of 2026 for a unique overnight, off-campus retreat where you will hear from seniors about what they have learned during their Babson journey and what they wish they had known in their first year. Students attending the retreat will have opportunities to connect with classmates, reflect on their Babson experience, and receive mentorship and guidance from upperclassmen and Babson staff. There are limited spots available, and students will be registered on a first-come, first-served basis. To confirm your reservation, please complete this application and bring a $20.00 registration fee (cash or check, exact change only) to the Office of Student Engagement (Student Life Suite, 2nd floor Reynolds) front desk. Checks should be made payable to Babson College. Please note: the $20.00 registration fee will be applied toward covering room and board during the retreat (dinner on Friday, November 7, and breakfast and lunch on Saturday, November 8). Fees are refundable until Friday, October 24, at 4:30 PM (end of business day). After that time, registration fees are non-refundable. Your spot will only be considered “reserved” once we receive both the registration form and the fee. If submitting this registration fee presents a financial burden that may hinder your decision to register, please don’t hesitate to contact OSE to discuss alternative arrangements. Babson Music Collective Concert Saturday, November 8 12:00 pm The Babson Music Collective is rooted in the jazz traditions of improvisation and creative expression. The group finds inspiration in a range of musical styles, from pop and afro-beat to classic jazz standards. Drawing on each member’s personal playing style and experiences, the Collective creates unique arrangements for all the music it plays. The Babson Music Collective performs at several concerts and events throughout the year, with the goal of fostering a community of Babson’s many student musicians and listeners. This show is being held at the Carling-Sorenson Theatre and is free and open to the public. Registration encouraged. Walk-ins welcome. Find out more
