Looking for a women in leadership program that can provide executive development for the entire team? Want to nurture your personal network, executive development, and career growth? The Babson Executive Education Leadership Program for Women & Allies provides leadership training that expands your network, viewpoints, skill set, and knowledge of entrepreneurial leadership.
Learn to become a more impactful and effective leader in our leadership training, designed by and for women and their allies. Throughout this executive education program for leadership development, you will activate a personalized action plan with feedback from peers and executive coaches. You will identify and strategically deploy your strengths, fine-tune your leadership skills, and enhance your network of senior women leaders and allies.
If you’re interested in women in leadership courses, we offer two versions of this executive training program, each including the leadership skills for women and allies as well as career coaching that have become hallmarks of the program. Choose between the five-week online experience, or the five-day, in-person intensive leadership offerings. The virtual program offers deep discussion and reflection, while the in-person program maximizes informal networking.
In this program for leadership development, you will develop your personal strengths and identify how those strengths can make positive impacts on your organization and your community. Bring a critical and current career challenge and receive leadership coaching as you craft an action plan that addresses the challenge.

This leadership education program is designed for mid- to senior-level leaders regardless of sex, gender, identity, or other attributes who are anticipating or experiencing a career transition such as a promotion, managing a new team, or a career switch, are interested in supporting leadership for women in the workplace, and want to empower women and their allies.

Smaiyra Million is an experienced CEO, investor, and advocate for advancing the entrepreneurial ecosystem. She spent thirty years as a successful operator of luxury hotels, spas, and health clubs. As CEO of Millennium Partners Sports Club Management, Smaiyra was named to the Top 100 Women Led Businesses in Massachusetts in 2011, 2012 and 2013. In 2014, she was inducted into the YW Academy of Women Achievers.
Kristen Getchell is an associate professor of business communication in Babson’s Marketing division. She teaches business communication courses in graduate, undergraduate, and executive education programs. She currently serves as Co-Director for Babson Executive Education’s Leadership Program for Women & Allies.

Smaiyra Million’s advice for women in small business confronting the headwinds of COVID-19 is to know your finances, rely on your network and resist the temptation to be a solo superhero, and whatever you do, to think twice before bootstrapping your business.
It’s important for women to know that no matter where you are in your career, there’s something transformative that happens when you have the opportunity to step outside of your business or company, working on the business and yourself instead of just in it.
Throughout her career, Susan Duffy has worked to harness the full entrepreneurial potential of women. Her programs have inspired women to change jobs or seek promotions. “Years later, I run into them and they say, ‘That program changed my life,’ “ she says.
What is included in the program fee?
The program fee includes your tuition and program materials. In most cases, meals during the program are included. Some programs include accommodations. Travel and personal expenses are not included (such as alcoholic beverages consumed with meals, telephone, and other incidentals).

Rooms are at the Babson Executive Conference Center, where the program will take place. They are not dorms.

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?
We are happy to help make accommodations for all dietary needs. Our food options allow for most food restrictions. Please let your program manager know if you have specific needs, once you have registered.
What should I wear?
Business casual is appropriate for classes and activities at the Babson Executive Conference Center. As classroom temperatures can vary, we suggest layered clothing.
What is the closest airport?
Boston Logan International Airport is the closest airport to Babson College (approximately 15 miles from the center). Travel times can vary based on the time of day.
What is the best way to get to the conference center from the airport?
The best way to get to the conference center/college would be to use a Ride app, arrange for a private car/van service, or take a taxi. There are commuter rail and subway stations nearby as well, but, private transportation between stations and Babson College is required.

When is payment due and what types of payment do you accept?
For in-person programs, payment is due in full 60 days prior to the start date of the program.
If you register for a program with an early registration rate, payment is due by the early registration date. Please check the webpage for the program you are attending for the early registration date.
We accept credit card, check, or wire transfer payments.

Each program participant receives a certificate of completion. We invite participants to add the program to their LinkedIn profile. Note that a certificate will not be provided if there is insufficient evidence of participation.
Do you have translation for non-English speaking participants?
We do not offer translation in our programs. Although we do not require the TOEFL, all Babson Executive Education programs are taught in English, so it is a prerequisite that you speak, read, and write English proficiently.
What type of visa do international travelers need, and will you provide a visa invitation letter?
International travelers will need to obtain a B-1 temporary business travel visa. Once you have registered and paid in full, contact the program manager to provide you with a visa invitation letter.
What is your cancellation policy?

How and when will I have access to the course materials?
Course materials are provided via Canvas, Babson’s online learning portal. Materials will be made available to participants approximately one to seven days prior to the first live online session, depending on the amount of pre-work that participants are expected to complete in advance.
Where can I find the schedule for the days and times of the live online sessions?
The schedule will be sent to registered participants in the registration confirmation email (see the link in your confirmation email to the EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW document).
Do I need to join the virtual sessions live? Will they be recorded?
We highly recommend that participants join the live online sessions. It is an opportunity to ask questions, participate in rich discussion, and learn from the experience of your program peers. However, we do understand that emergencies arise, so sessions will be recorded and made available upon request.

Additional, detailed instructions will be provided on Canvas. Babson staff will be online and available to assist you, and will identify themselves during each live online delivery.
