Babson MBA students helped client partner Shipt, a Target-owned delivery service, advance its focus on long-term strategy by tackling Shipt’s desire to integrate sustainability while handling unprecedented demand for same-day delivery services. The idea? A sustainable packaging system featuring collapsible, returnable boxes. Shortly after semester’s end, Andrea Roig MBA’21 joined Shipt as an intern.
Full-Time Student Outcomes“One of the most valuable parts of this project for me was the time (our client team) gave us, to pinpoint ideas and work through them together. They were really just as engaged as we were and were really open to sharing key insights into their corporate strategy, which really helped us structure the project.”
“This is the first time Shipt has worked with a student consulting team like this. Being able to tap into brilliant young minds and do so to provide mutual benefit … this definitely won’t be the last time we participate.”
“Even as a part-time student, it’s clear that the Babson community is fully in my corner. The school wants to see me succeed both in and out of the classroom. That’s a feeling that’s as comforting as it is empowering.”
