You Belong at Babson
The Babson community is made up of individuals from more than 40 U.S. states and territories and more than 90 countries—all united by our shared vision to create positive change in the world. As part of this community, you’re able to develop empathy and understanding of others’ identities and lived experiences.
What Do We Mean by Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging?
From day one on campus, it is our goal to ensure you feel welcomed, safe, included, acknowledged, and rewarded, and have equitable access to opportunities and growth. Our tight-knit community ensures that everyone has a place at Babson, regardless of race, color, national or ethnic origin, ancestry, religious creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, genetics, disabilities, veteran status, or military obligations.
You’re also empowered to revisit and analyze pieces of your identity while evolving and expanding new facets of yourself. As you step outside your comfort zone to maximize learning and personal development, you’ve got the entire community supporting your growth.
College Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Events
It’s one thing to say we support diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. It’s another thing to do. Throughout the year, you’ll find events that support our community’s many intersecting identities, amplify voices of underrepresented identities and experiences, and promote awareness, understanding, and action toward diversity and social justice.
Each one offers an opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge you need to engage in respectful, meaningful, and constructive dialogue with your peers and community members from all walks of life.
