Summer Workshops for Teens

Get Ready for Your Financial Future!

Would you like to be better prepared to manage your money for the next stage of life? If so, join the Babson Financial Literacy Project (BFLP) for six online personal finance workshops that will give you a strong foundation for your financial future and help you avoid common money mistakes made by young adults.

Dates: July 30, July 31, and August 1, 2024
8:00–11:00 a.m. ET

Program Cost: $449 per person

July 30: Tips & Tricks for Managing Credit & Building a Financial Plan for College
July 31: Understanding Your Paycheck & Becoming Bank Savvy
August 1: Investing I & II

The BFLP is a not-for-profit program designed to help young adults acquire the necessary knowledge and skills for long-term financial prosperity and independence. The program draws from case studies developed by Babson College finance professors to teach critical financial skills in a community setting. An online financial knowledge platform supports the program. Participants do not need any financial expertise, and only basic math skills are required.

BFLP workshops are restricted to participants 16 years or older. Workshops are highly interactive, so class size is limited. Sign up early to ensure a seat. A parent/guardian must register students under 18 and sign a waiver.

A digital badge will be offered to all students who attend at least five of the six workshop sessions.
