Dr. Monique A. Domingo is an Assistant Professor of Management at Babson College. She earned both her Ph.D. and B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from the University of Connecticut and San Francisco State University, respectively. Prior to joining Babson College, she served as an Assistant Professor of Management at Louisiana State University.
Monique’s research concentrates on teams and leadership within the field of Organizational Behavior. She primarily examines how people lead, adapt, and collaborate in response to crises, workplace backlash, and other high-pressure situations. Her research has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals, including the Academy of Management Journal, Annual Review of Organizational Psychology and Organizational Behavior, Group & Organization Management, Small Group Research, and International Journal of Management Education.
As a first-generation Mexican Filipino American college student, she holds high quality education in high regard and is committed to fostering enduring learning experiences that support students’ personal and professional growth. Currently, she teaches the Foundations of Management and Entrepreneurship (FME) course at Babson College, where she facilitates student learning and business ventures through the perspective of organizational behavior. At previous institutions, she has taught in person and hybrid upper-level undergraduate courses in Managerial and Interpersonal Behavior and in Organizational Behavior, and was awarded the E.J. Ourso College of Business Dean’s Award for Excellence in Teaching Undergraduate.
In both her research and teaching, she draws from prior experience in retail banking, international distributing, family business, and consulting to connect theory with practice.
