Babson Business Fellowship

Explore business, prepare for college, and experience Babson firsthand in this pre-college opportunity for students in the Greater Boston area.

The Babson Business Fellowship is a selective, no-cost program for high-achieving high school juniors in Greater Boston who are first-generation students, come from limited-income families, and/or have had limited access to educational opportunities and college resources. Through five immersive Saturday sessions at Babson Boston, you'll explore entrepreneurship, leadership, personal finance, and the college admission process while building connections with the Babson community, including esteemed alumni.

As the No. 1 college for entrepreneurship, Babson empowers students to turn ideas into action through hands-on learning, real-world experiences, and a collaborative community that encourages innovation and leadership. During the Fellowship, you'll experience that approach firsthand as you engage with faculty, students, alumni, and admission staff.

You specifically will immerse yourself in entrepreneurial leadership, which is a way of thinking, acting, and creating opportunities that we specialize in. It’s how we teach our students to see opportunities when others see roadblocks.

What You'll Learn in the Babson Business Fellowship

Throughout the Fellowship, you'll participate in sessions focused on both business education and college preparation. Topics include:

Fellowship Schedule

The Babson Business Fellowship consists of five, all day Saturday sessions. The sessions will take place at Babson Boston in the heart of the city’s financial district. Applicants should be able to commit to the following day-long sessions:

• Saturday, March 20, 2027
• Saturday, April 3, 2027
• Saturday, May 8, 2027
• Saturday, June 12, 2027
• Saturday, July 10, 2027

Cost and Eligibility

The Babson Business Fellowship is completely free. Program participation, meals, and public transportation are covered.

The program is designed for high-achieving high school juniors who:

• Are first-generation students and/or come from limited-income families
• Have experienced barriers to educational opportunity or college resources
• Demonstrate strong academic achievement and leadership potential

For Counselors and Teachers

We encourage nominations from school counselors and teachers. The Babson Business Fellowship is designed for business-passionate students who demonstrate strong academic achievement—students looking for a door-opening opportunity and would benefit from additional support, mentorship, and exposure as they prepare for college. Students may also apply independently.
