The Arthur M. Blank School for Entrepreneurial Leadership is a first-of-its-kind hub that connects and extends the Babson College community to learners across the lifespan.

The Blank School is an action lab that convenes and amplifies thought leaders around the globe. Our community, comprised of six Centers & Institutes, fosters the mindset needed to lead change, solve global problems, and create sustainable value across business and society. We offer workshops, mentorship, funding opportunities and scholarships, academic research, accelerators and incubators, and more to accomplished and aspiring entrepreneurial leaders.

Chief Executive Officer

An accomplished entrepreneur and business leader with a broad and impressive portfolio of academic leadership credentials, Donna Levin joined Babson from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where she served as the college’s first executive director of innovation and entrepreneurship. She was also the co-founder of Care.com and vice president of operations for UPromise. Levin received a BA from Emerson College and an Executive MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Scott Taylor leads curriculum development, leverages opportunities for experiential learning, and supports research in the field of entrepreneurship, social and economic impact, and sustainability. He provides guidance to leaders of the College’s centers and institutes and builds a network of scholars, practitioners and innovators to lead academic and applied scholarship, and facilitate transformative learning experiences.

An academic leader and experienced entrepreneur, Jeffrey P. Shay ’87, MBA’91 leads The Arthur M. Blank School for Entrepreneurial Leadership Scholars program and case development, as well as teaching Entrepreneurship Division courses. He earned his PhD from Cornell and then built comprehensive entrepreneurship programs at Washington and Lee University and the University of Montana. He has taught entrepreneurship courses and case method workshops around the world.

  • Peer to Peer Connect – virtual facilitated feedback forums designed to help you make progress on your venture through virtual support 
  • Butler Launch Pad – access to faculty advisors, events, content, our online communities, and much more
  • BASE (Babson Alumni Supporting Entrepreneurs) – BASE Consultants serve as sounding boards and coaches for Babson alumni and students, providing insights and perspectives for any stage or aspect of your business, based on their own business experience and expertise.

The Arthur M. Blank School for Entrepreneurial Leadership is designed to create opportunities for the entire Babson College community to lead change, solve global problems, and create value across business and society. The Blank School encompasses six Centers & Institutes, including the Arthur M. Blank Center for Entrepreneurship (“Blank Center”).

The Blank Center specifically seeks to incubate and accelerate new venture creation and works with Babson’s emerging entrepreneurs, as well as facilitating entrepreneurship research and thought leadership.
