The online program is synchronous, meaning students will participate in a live classroom experience during course time.
The program is designed as a full-day experience. Students spend 3 hours in class each day, with the remainder of the day dedicated to enrichment activities, workshops, and hands-on experiences. Because of this structure, students should plan to take one course per session (morning or afternoon) to fully engage in the program.
Transportation to and from the airport is not provided at this time. Students and families should plan their own travel to campus. For directions and transportation options, visit our Getting to Campus page.
Yes. Residential students live in air-conditioned Babson residence halls. Most students are housed in double rooms, not single rooms.
The Summer at Babson program provides reasonable accommodations, including reasonable medical housing accommodations, to eligible participants with disabilities. To initiate the confidential process for requesting reasonable accommodations, please contact summerdisabilityservices@babson.edu as soon as possible.
Yes, we welcome international students to participate in our programs. In-person international participants would need a B-1/B-2 visitor (tourist) visa if they do not have another U.S. immigration status that would allow them to participate in this type of program. Babson can provide a visa support letter if needed.
This is a non-credit, pre-college experience. Students who complete a course earn a Babson digital badge that can be shared on LinkedIn and included in resumes and college applications. For high school students interested in Babson College programs that offer college credit, check out our Summer Study Program.
