Philip Arathoon

Academic Division: Math & Science
Philip obtained his BA and MMath in mathematics from the University of Cambridge in 2014, his MPhil in 2015 and his PhD in 2020 from the University of Manchester. His research area is in classical mechanics, a field whose study dates back to Newton, with questions concerning planetary dynamics, the 3-body problem, and systems with symmetry. Before joining Babson College, Philip was a Postdoctoral Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan.
