The Uncommon Table
Conversations that matter.
At the heart of what The Lewis Institute does is The Uncommon Table™ methodology. In short, it's a conversation. More than that, it's an intentional approach to creating consistent habitats and unexpected opportunities to share insights that lead to action on important issues impacting business and society.
We host several Uncommon Tables that meet regularly throughout each semester, building a consistent habitat to share generative conversations, give and take resources, and make in-person connections with experts and luminaries. These are conversations with many, not lectures by few.
For many of our students, their pathway to social innovation begins here, simply by joining a conversation.
Be sure to check out similar Uncommon Tables on campus, including:
- How 2 Tuesdays - workshop-style conversations, every Tuesday at 5 at the Blank Center
- CWEL Circles - conversations about men, women, and the workplace, every Thursday in Roger's Pub
- Campfires - conversations at The Weisman Foundry, Mondays starting at 5:30
