Serving 20 years as Executive Vice President and Principal to one of the nation's largest financial services Business Process Outsourcing firms (750+ employees servicing Fortune 50 clientele), David's career in industry and consulting has focused on instituting quality management/mistake-proofing controls often utilized in manufacturing, within service-based operational environments. This has included development of an ISO 9001 quality management system and registration, as well as establishing audit-proof controls and procedures to comply with stringent regulatory and data security compliance audits.
As a former financial services industry spokesperson, David has performed extensive lobbying efforts at both the local and national levels. This included visits with Representatives of US Congress, Massachusetts and Connecticut Divisions of Banks, Massachusetts Legislature, and Massachusetts Attorney General's Office.
David is Chair of the Operations & Information Management Advisory Board for the Isenberg School of Management, UMASS Amherst and is teaching "Operations Management" to graduate students at the UMASS Amherst/Mount Ida Campus. Further, David serves as one of the moderators for the Babson Institute of Family Entrepreneurship's Peer Forum.
Serving on the board of directors for JF&CS -- a large Boston-area nonprofit, David also sits on their Board Compliance and Risk Management Committee to leverage his data security and regulatory compliance background.
