John began working at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management as a high school intern and continued through college, joining his father, John Hudspeth Sr., at Merrill full time. He offers clients the perspective of a financial advisor who understands their needs, concerns and goals. John strives to help clients preserve and grow their wealth, as well as provide advice and guidance to those clients currently navigating the retirement process, so they can spend their time doing what they enjoy most.

John is committed to ongoing professional education to help him understand market changes and present clients with new opportunities. John is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. He also holds the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) and the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM (CRPC®) & Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor™ (CPFA®) designations. John currently holds his Series 7 and 66 FINRA registrations. John has been named to Forbes/SHOOK "America's Top Next-Generation Wealth Advisors" in 2017, 2018, 2019 & 2020.

John earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Babson College, where he played varsity baseball. He is committed to giving back to the community and enjoys spending time with his wife, Kimberly, and their three children.
