Each course is designed to take you from the classroom to the real world as you build your business in real time.

The MSBC is a flexible, online program that takes two years to complete. Each class within the MSBC is seven weeks long and made up of asynchronous coursework as well as live virtual events where you’ll be invited to collaborate with your peers, connect with faculty, and hear from guest speakers. All live sessions are recorded for additional flexibility and convenience.
Students who complete the MSBC program are eligible to stack their credits toward a Part-Time MBA at Babson.
The first module teaches you the crucial business fundamentals.
The second module teaches you how to apply the fundamentals while designing your business.
The third module teaches you how to create your go-to-market launch plan and how to pitch for investment.
Identify and frame entrepreneurial opportunities, structure analysis, and lay the groundwork for effective venture design and launch.
Challenge assumptions and create new venture opportunities through an iterative, human-centered design process.
Demonstrate a growth mindset and self-awareness to recognize when and how to take action in launching and leading ventures.
Navigate ambiguity by applying an agile, experimental approach to testing, learning, and pivoting new venture ideas.
Use data and storytelling to illustrate venture performance and articulate sustainable, quantifiable financial and stakeholder value.
Courses in the online MSBC are designed for entrepreneurs and working professionals, combining podcast-style lectures and AI-supported assignments with meaningful interaction built in.
AI-powered tutors, trained on course content, provide you with real-time guidance as you work through assignments and questions at your own pace, making it even easier to complete your coursework on a flexible schedule.
Plus, build connections with your professors and classmates through live virtual sessions, featuring guest speakers, in-class activities, and opportunities to learn from your fellow aspiring entrepreneurs. Live sessions take place several times per semester and are recorded for added flexibility if you cannot attend.
The Inaugural Class Scholarship supports admitted students who deposit for Babson’s new MS in Business Creation and begin classes in Spring 2027. All admitted students within the first MSBC cohort will qualify for the Inaugural Class Scholarship.

Once you complete the program, you’ll also have the opportunity to pitch your venture to a panel of alumni judges in the Chomper, a pitch competition exclusive to MSBC students produced as part of Babson’s B.E.T.A. Challenge. With cash prizes on the line, you have the opportunity to graduate with tangible support, guidance, and investment into your business.

The MS in Business Creation is designed for students who have an idea for a business venture in mind and are looking for a road map to guide them as they work toward launch. Students in the business creation program receive mentorship and support from experienced entrepreneurs and dedicated faculty as they take their venture from idea to launch.
Yes, international students are able to enroll in the MSBC program. The coursework is 100% online, featuring independent coursework and recorded instruction so that students have the flexibility to accommodate busy schedules and time zone differences. There will be several live online sessions with faculty and classmates per course, however these will be recorded if you are not able to attend. The program is not visa eligible.
