Policies
Until further notice Babson will continue to use its Title IX Policy (Effective August 14, 2020, and as last amended) and Gender-Based Misconduct Policies to address complaints regarding sex-based discrimination or harassment and gender-based misconduct that constitute prohibited conduct under the scope of those policies. Babson also may address reports of alleged discrimination under other applicable College policies.
Consistent with Babson’s community values and Massachusetts law, the College prohibits discrimination and harassment based on sex, gender-identity, and sexual orientation, and will respond to reported concerns about alleged discrimination in an equitable and thoughtful manner.
Babson community members who have questions regarding Title IX or who have information or concerns regarding potential sex-based discrimination or harassment impacting College programs or activities are encouraged to contact Babson’s Title IX Coordinator, Betsy Rauch.

The College is committed to maintaining a work and learning environment that is respectful, equitable, and free from conflicts of interest.
As such, and regardless of whether conduct constitutes prohibited sexual harassment under any College policy, the College strictly prohibits faculty and staff from engaging or attempting to engage in romantic or sexual relationships with any currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student, regardless of consent, supervisory role, whether a party to the relationship is on leave, or the College is not in session.
In addition, the College prohibits faculty and staff from engaging or attempting to engage in a romantic or sexual relationship with any individual whom they supervise or any individual for whom they have direct or indirect academic or professional responsibility.
Persons affiliated with the College who are not Babson students, staff or faculty (such as alumni, volunteers, agency/contract personnel, visiting researchers and scholars, and others engaged in College activities and programs) should not engage in or attempt to engage in romantic or sexual relationships with currently enrolled Babson students who they advise, coach, mentor, supervise or evaluate, and may be found responsible for violating Babson’s Gender-Based Misconduct Policy for Faculty, Staff, and Affiliated Persons if their conduct creates a hostile environment related to sex for any member of the Babson community.
Anyone who has questions about potentially prohibited relationships or who wishes to report a potentially prohibited relationship involving a faculty or staff member should contact the Vice President of Human Resources or the Deputy Title IX Coordinator for Human Resources.
Anyone who wishes to report a potentially prohibited relationship between student(s) and persons affiliated with the College who are not staff or faculty should contact the Title IX Coordinator.
