Course Agenda

Week 1:
YOU AS AN ENTREPRENEUR: AT BABSON, AT COLLEGE, AND BEYOND

Becoming an entrepreneurial leader requires more than learning how to start a new venture. In this first week, you will learn how to assess your abilities and strengths, and determine which ones you want to share and which you want to strengthen in the weeks ahead.

Week 2:
ENTREPRENEURIAL LEADERSHIP IN THE MODERN WORLD

A successful entrepreneur can work with people from all kinds of different backgrounds. In week two, you will explore the challenges and opportunities presented by our modern, multicultural world.

Week 3:
NEW VENTURE CREATION

New ventures only succeed when their leaders deeply understand the language of business. This week, you will get immersed in the “nuts and bolts” of building a venture through a sampling of interdisciplinary courses.

Week 4:
SUCCEEDING AS AN ENTREPRENEUR

In our final week, we look towards the future. You will learn how to use your new skills and knowledge of Entrepreneurial Thought & Action to craft meaningful plans for college and beyond.

"I learned that entrepreneurship is not just about business, but is actually a way of thinking, a mindset. You can apply entrepreneurship to a business, to an outside organization, to problems you’ll have with your family, to problems you have in any situation of your life. Entrepreneurship is not about just making money, but actually solving problems."
