- Upon completion of this program, colleagues will earn a graduate credential (Certificate in Advanced Management), and will have completed 9 MBA elective credits. Colleagues will also become Babson alumni and join our worldwide alumni network of more than 46,000.
- For those interested in an MBA, credits will roll into the Babson-Massport MBA Program with a 3.0 gpa or higher.
- 7-week semesters are scheduled with several breaks built into the program to ensure minimal interruptions to work and life;
- A cohorted structure helps facilitate learning while enhancing participants’ skills and Massport network, all within a Massport context. Courses allow participants to apply what they learn directly to their work, often through work-related projects.
- Massport employees receive a 20% reduced tuition rate and can defer 2/3rds of their tuition payment until 5 weeks after the end of the semester for ease in payment and reimbursement.
The following courses have been selected for employees by senior leadership at Massport to develop skills that can be applied directly to their work. Courses will also incorporate Lahey business cases and scenarios to make content applicable and relevant to work situations.
- Finance & Accounting as Competitive Tools, ACC7577: This finance course bridges the gap between functional business knowledge and practical financial information. By connecting company strategy to its financial implications, participants increase the value of their firm and become more effective business leaders. Topics covered include: understanding financial statements, using finance to improve decision-making, projecting cash flows, and assessing organizational performance. The curriculum focuses on universal business problems that are specific to Massport and teaches colleagues how to immediately apply that information in ways that are relevant to their work.

- Negotiations, MOB7511: This elective course provides an understanding of negotiation dynamics. Participants will: understand the theory behind effective negotiation while learning a range of behaviors and awareness to improve performance at the table. Through a mix of live group discussions and role-play, supplemented by asynchronous content sharing the latest negotiation theory, participants will put best practice into practice each week. Participants will learn:
1. To provide a framework for measuring outcomes, effective preparation, sequencing negotiations, analyzing process and managing difficult tactics;
2. To build a range of behaviors, from empathy to assertiveness, to improve performance;
3. To gain awareness of how best to lean into your strengths and improve on your weaknesses, to upskill your negotiation capabilities.

- Strategy Elective, TBD: This strategy course focuses on strategic and competitive analysis to enable entrepreneurial action in a corporate setting. Participants will explore how to position their business units, products, or firm to compete effectively, as well as identify what sources of competitive advantage can be created, exploited, and sustained. Finally, this course will review what capabilities are needed to launch, grow, and adapt successfully to changes in the environment. Participants will also apply Entrepreneurial Thought & Action to evaluate situations, assess risk, make decisions with limited information, and drive change.

Attendance Policy:
Class attendance is mandatory for the Corporate CAM Program. Classes take place in-person at One Harborside Drive, East Boston, on select Thursdays from 10am-1pm, and online on select Tuesdays from 6:30pm-9:30pm as outlined here. Missing 2 classes (not attending in-person or via Webex) per course, will result in a drop in a student’s participation grade. Missing 3 classes per course will result in the student receiving a grade of “incomplete” and will require them to retake the course. All requests for an absence must be made in advance via email directly to the course faculty so proper make-up work can be assigned.
Please note: We understand that you cannot always control your schedule. Please stay in communication with your faculty and add all class dates to your calendar for the duration of the Program, to best avoid conflicts.
