Emergency Procedures

R – Rescue	Rescue and relocate anyone in immediate danger.
A – Alert	Alert others by activating the building fire alarm.
C – Confine	Confine the emergency by closing the doors.
E – Evacuate	Evacuate to the designated building evacuation assembly area immediately. Use stairwells—DO NOT USE ELEVATORS.

P – Pull	Pull the pin from the extinguisher.
A – Aim	Aim the nozzle at the base of the fire.
S – Squeeze	Squeeze the handle.
S – Sweep	Sweep from side to side.

A – Avoid	When there is an active attack, and when safe to do so, dial 781-239-5555 or dial 911 if off campus.
D – Deny	When getting away is difficult or not possible.
D – Defend	Protect yourself when feasible and appropriate.
