Tickets are required for all guests to gain entry to the Commencement tent. For Commencement 2024, each degree candidate will receive six tickets for guest seating under the tent. Guests also may view the exercises via live broadcast in the Carling-Sorenson Theater. For family and friends who cannot attend, the ceremony can be viewed online.
For guaranteed seating under the tent, ticket holders must be at the Commencement tent on the Upper Athletic Fields by 9:40 a.m.
Undergraduate students can pick up tickets from Alumni Hall once all CCP is complete.
In order to participate in Commencement, all degree candidates must log into the Babson Student Hub, where there will be a designated portlet for the Commencement Clearance Process. This will open on April 8 and will close on May 8.
Candidates will view and complete necessary requirements.
Degree candidates will be emailed prior to the site opening at their Babson email address.
Note on Laptops
May 2024 graduates will be contacted via their Babson email address in early April with full details on how to either purchase or return their Babson-issued laptop prior to Commencement.
A traditional 4 year graduate should expect the purchase cost of their laptop model to be $450.00 (including MA sales tax). August 2024 graduates will be expected to return or purchase their laptop upon complete completion of their summer coursework. All graduates should note that their diploma will be held until such time as their Babson-issued laptop is either returned or purchased.

Commencement of the Undergraduate School will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024.
The academic procession for Commencement will leave from the Len Green Recreation Athletic Complex (LGRAC). The exercises will be held in the tent on the Upper Athletic Fields and will last approximately 2½ hours. Family and guests attending the graduate ceremony should be seated by 9:30 a.m.
Organizing a procession of more than 600 degree recipients takes at least one hour. Therefore, we ask that all degree candidates assemble by 8 a.m. The class photo will be taken at 9 a.m., just prior to assembling for the procession. Please wear your robes for this photo.
Check-in for all in-person Commencement experiences will take place at the Len Green Recreation Athletic Complex (LGRAC). Please have your Babson OneCard or photo ID. There will be nowhere to store bags or luggage; please bring only what you plan to carry.
Note: Tickets will not be available for pick up until all requirements have been fulfilled through the Commencement Clearing Process (CCP).
Caps, gowns, and tassels are furnished by the College at no charge to graduates and may be kept as souvenirs of this memorable occasion.
Once students have finalized all items in CCP, they can pick up their regalia at the campus store on the following days and times.
