THURSDAY, AUGUST 21

Time Session For Location
9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Residence Hall Move-in C Campus Wide
  It’s time to move in! When you get to campus, follow signage to the Trim Parking Lot where our staff will check you in and you'll receive your residence hall keys. After that, you’ll be directed to your residence hall where our student leader volunteers will help you unload your vehicle and get all of your belongings into the hall quickly. Please note, all students are assigned a move-in time by Residence Life—please do your best to arrive within the window assigned to you.
10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Laptop and OneCard Pick-up C Len Green Recreation and Athletics Complex
  Now that you’re moved in, it’s time to start checking things off the “to do list.” Head over to the Len Green Recreation and Athletics Complex (LGRAC) where you can receive your student ID (OneCard) and Babson issued laptop.
11 a.m.-2 p.m. Lunch C Upper Athletic Fields
  Join the campus community for lunch—the perfect combination of good food, conversation, and relaxation!
4-5 p.m. Opening Celebration C Len Green Recreation and Athletics Complex
  Orientation is set to begin! Join President Spinelli and the entire campus community to kick-off your Babson journey in style!
5-7 p.m. Campus Resource and Vendor Fair C Upper Athletic Fields
  Stop by the Upper Fields and meet and greet with staff from various departments and centers from around campus. Learn how your student can take advantage of the many resources available at Babson! Students and families can also visit with a number of off-campus vendors (banks, cell phone providers, etc.) who provide services students may need.
5-7 p.m. Community Dinner C Upper Athletic Fields
  Students and families are invited to a dinner on the Upper Athletic Fields to celebrate and officially welcome you to the Babson community. Reunite with your family or socialize with other students and families and Babson staff.
6:30-8 p.m. Family Dessert Social F Roger’s Pub and Grille
  It’s been a long day! At the Family Dessert Social we invite you to unwind and meet fellow family members as well as some of the many staff your students will interact with in a casual setting.
7-8 p.m. Residence Life Floor Meeting S Residence Halls
  All first-year students will meet with their Resident Assistants (RAs) and their new neighbors in their residence hall. The RAs will help you bond as a community, review important information regarding Residence Life, policies in the residence halls, and upcoming events throughout the semester.
7-8 p.m. Residence Life Meeting S Olin Winn Auditorium
  All residential transfer and exchange students will meet with Resident Assistants (RAs) and Residence Life staff, and the people living around them in the residential community. The RAs will review important information regarding Residence Life, policies in the residence halls, and upcoming events throughout the semester. 
8-10 p.m. Campus Activities Board (CAB) Presents: Roger’s Birthday Bash S Park Manor Quad
  Come socialize with your fellow first year’s at Roger’s Birthday Bash. Roger our community resource dog will be there with all his friends, along with Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream, Swag, and plenty of games.

10-11:15 a.m. Orientation Group Meeting #1: Meet your Peer Mentor! S Len Green Recreation and Athletics Complex
  Meet your Peer Mentors, get acquainted with new classmates, and find out important information about the orientation program. This session is critical to a successful and productive orientation. Please look for the group number and information received in emails prior to your arrival. Not sure what group you’re in? Find a helpful staff member or student leader to guide you!
10:15-11:15 a.m. Be Well, Do Well F Carling-Sorenson Theater
  Students’ health, safety, and overall wellbeing are critical priorities for families as well as for the College. Please join Ryan Travia, Associate Dean of Students for Wellness, and representatives from Counseling and Psychological Services, Health Services, and Wellness & Prevention Services for a panel presentation to learn more about community expectations, programs, and services available to support your student’s health and wellbeing.
